Pawn: Holy shit, nice art!

FosterFluffy: An unusually well run herd about to start their day. The smarty shouts a quick good morning followed by a short list of instructions about the day's activities. A toughie sets out to his post, guarding the safe place.

Inspired by differential_Sloth's Kerry's Story!

FosterFluffy: @Pawn: Thanks! It's terrible how yhou notice a million things that are wrong or could improve AFTER you've uploaded it, but thanks!

Disintegral: I may not be one for hugbox, but that is some damn purdy art right there.

HerdKing: Well arted

MobyToby: This is incredible; well done!

PeppermintParchment: I love the trees. For myself, trees are so difficult to do, I make the texture look more like "worked" wood, like a table or chair each time. But these trees are wonderful. Excellent work, you have a good control of textures!

Fluffy_Angst: Holy Shit, the art!! NICE!

Nocturn: Talent like that should be used for depicting proper fluffy carnage. That tuffy should be decapitated , The smarty should be raped in front of the others to remind them that they are just biotoy filth made for pain. The foals should be skinned alive and dipped in capsaicin in front of there moms.

LORD: Very good art style, kinda reminds me of Agnostic. Only instead of brutal abuse, it’s hugbox.

- Reply
Disintegral: @LORD: I think it's the mood lighting and contrast that's giving the Agnostic vibes.

ForScience: God. Damn.
This is fucking gorgeous, like a massage for the eyes with a happy ending.
They even have little windows! How the fuck did they manage woodworking? How do they develop the tools for excavation and carving? There's no glass, so are the window spars just for fun? Are there shovels? I have so many questions!

Outcast: I can't really say anything that hasn't already been put better 10 different ways, but still, nice art.

Poopiesketti: It's TOO good. Fluffies don't deserve a world like this.

Pinkyfluffy: Amazing!!!!
You did a wonderful work!

Disintegral: @ForScience: There's also the one down the bottom (a toughie sentry, maybe?) who looks to have crude wooden armour.

@Poopiesketti: It looks like they might be expecting some sort of invasion, so a less happy sequel could happen at some point.

Jaxxon3: The one down the bottom..."Mangekyo Sharingan!"...:D

Stealthderp: This is so well done, it looks like promo artwork for the Gummi Bears cartoon or some other old Disney stuff. You could literally use that as concept art to sell the rights. On the other hand, I shudder to imagine what mainstream fluffies would turn into...

- Reply
Disintegral: @Stealthderp: Wouldn't mainstream fluffies basically just be hugbox?

CwinicawDepwession: Good shit my dood, good shit!

9402553482: I love that little wooden armor and mud war paint the toughie has on him. It's so good.

FoxHoarder: This is gorgerous, like a real legitimate painting! It's great to see fluffies living their little lives on peaceful moments like this. Just looking at this feels relaxing.

Feyascia: This looks great!

Butt_Bandit: Amazing.

I wish there was a like system or something.

MostlyHereToLurk: One of the best pieces of art we've had here recently, just what the Booru needs!

Stealthderp: @Disintegral: Honestly, I believe even worse. Instead of painting the negative aspects with a big pink brush, the stuff would be left out for marketing reasons. Child friendly, marketable, completely streamlined. Literally Gummi Bears on marshmallow hooves. Imagine the toy line. You walk into a store an the robotic little freaks would do the huggie pose... I mean the days of Ruxpin are long gone, think about what the stuff would be capable of.

Fluffocaust: fluffies crafting windows? the smarty wears a tie AND survived a fight? the toughies wear wooden armor? this herd is too advanced to allow to survive.

- Reply
Anders_Breivik: This is out of canon, unless it is a prelude to a story where Bronyslav comes to pick his newest enfie toys and a cold snap freezes all the other fluffies.

Carolina_Reaper: Hugbox that actually makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. And it's beautifully drawn. The only thing we need now is an equally beautifully drawn wolf to pay them a visit.
- Reply
Evil_Emperor: Feral Fluffies should not be allowed to be happy under any circumstances.

- Reply
Disintegral: @Stealthderp: The really cutesy, polar-opposite-of-abuse end of hugbox has a bit of a tendency to sanitise fluffies anyway. That's kind of the stuff I was thinking of - should have been more specific.

At best, I think mainstream versions of regular fluffies would still be naive and a bit idiotic, but they wouldn't come with any of the other flaws. And if there were a TV show, smarties would be Saturday morning cartoon villains or schoolyard bullies than legit sociopaths with the minds of children.

Poopiesketti: The Gargamel of this world actually catches his prey. And ruthlessly butchers them. But for some reason, the fluffies somehow survive.

- Reply
Disintegral: @Poopiesketti: Maybe there's some Happy Tree Friends-style negative continuity at work, where characters die horribly, only to be brought back the next time the writers have an amusing death in mind for them.

Waaaghlord: They tried so hard and got so far but in the end ... one human can destroy it all and kill everyone!

Stealthderp: @Disintegral: I get what you are aiming for. Even the extreme hugbox still deals with the natural problems of fluffies fragility, unsanitary behaviour and so on. Now imagine a mainstream version that literally cuts out every bit of those. Fluffies would eat Spaghetti like the Turtles went for Pizza, but just like those, digestion would never come up. Breeding would be cut out entirely because why wake that sleeping dog. I would love to see it just for the bizarre nature it would come with. Maybe we will, considering Netflix recruits cartoon people from Tumblr nowadays. Who knows what these people will dig up in a couple of years ;)

FosterFluffy: @Fluffocaust: It is intended as a tie but it's just a dead leaf hanging on the fur of the smarty's neck, really. I don't know where he got that idea.
