Micron: Ranching these things would probably be very hard. My grandfather once told me a story of a farmer who tried to ranch poultry until the day that a stampede occurred. The farmer's wife was trampled and badly injured, and all the poultry died when they ran into a metal wall. I imagine that being a much greater risk with fluffies than even poultries.

Waaaghlord: yeah, nice try rancher ^^ ... though you actually need someone to manipulate the DNA, by breeding alone it would be very hard ... and you would need to "dispose" ... or at least spay the unwanted examples...

... how does the cute foster parent generate income?

Stealthderp: The most interesting reaction might come from the government. Especially in the moment a newspaper reminds the population that there is someone trying to make the worst pest that mankind has produced so far, more resilient.

Anonymous4: @Anonymous: Sure, but even with their hypothetical incredible breeding rates, I'm sure many of those would turn out to be alicorns, brown, deformed, or stillborn, all death sentences in one way or another. That's not even getting into winter.

Stealthderp: @Anonymous: Depends on the how each story shows lore. Sometimes they are an annoyance, sometimes a threat to the food supply on a nationwide level. The beauty of the booru, something for everyone.
